Christine Abou Zeid

Biography

Christine Abou Zeid is an actress, singer, and vocal coach with a Master’s degree in Theatre – Acting Coaching from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Fine Arts. She holds an Arabic Operatic Certificate from the Lebanese Music Institute and has enriched her training through singing masterclasses in Norway and Italy with the renowned soprano Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz. Her acting expertise has been shaped by masterclasses with prominent Lebanese and international actors and directors, including A ... ida Sabra, Jacques Maroun, Jean Daoud, Marcel Ghosn, Michel Jabre, Troupe Duzieu, Thomas Ostermeier, and Antonio Fava. With over 10 years of experience in singing and acting, Christine has performed in theatre productions, operas, TV commercials, and television series. She notably portrayed La Badessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica at the Nebrodi Festival in Sicily, Italy, and has taken part in several operas in Lebanon, including L'Elisir d'Amore (Donizetti), Carmen (Bizet), and Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni). In addition to her performance career, Christine has dedicated the past seven years to teaching voice and singing techniques, helping students develop their vocal abilities with a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary styles.
